The Stage is Set is both a Home Staging company and Event planner. Providing both online ands in person platforms for mentor training programs and that equips creatives with skills, mindsets, and tools to help them stay relevant and adaptive in the Design and Home Improvement industry.
We're part of Valley Creatives our Sister program for community Arts programs and Events that takes a human-centered, design-based approach to help organizations innovate and grow.
The Stage is Set LLC builds on teaching and Arts presentations. Our Founder, Joyce Young, is also the founder of the Non-Profit 501c3, The Valley Creative Art Center in the San Fernando Valley, where many of our Students bring their experience from the field into the classroom. At The Set is Set, you’ll learn from experienced mentors and educators who apply these methods every day in their own work, and who have a passion for teaching our student Interns at The Stage is Set. Our instructors are subject matter experts who’ve led thousands of projects across industries and in areas including business, education, and Design. They tap into their diverse experiences and their insights from applying these methods and mindsets in real-world projects to teach these concepts.

Founder of Valley Creatives Arts Center
A founding member of Valley Creative Arts Center, Joyce Young is a creative executive with more than 5 years leading Creative teams in the design and launch of human-centered products, services, and systems.
Joyce's superpower is engaging and facilitation, which includes designing and leading collaborative co-design or strategic activities with diverse groups of people. She hosts Valley Creative's WorkArt Podcast, and her design work has been an encouragement to many creatives finding their roots. Joyce has a MBA in Business Administration from University of Phoenix.
Kiana Jones
Managing Director & Creative Recruiter at The Stage Is Set
Kiana's role is to find and hire creative professionals for a variety of roles, including design, marketing, and content production. Creative recruiters may work for a single employer or multiple clients. Their responsibilities include: Her role requires her to find candidates, identify and reach out to them.

Finding candidates: Identifying and reaching out to creative professionals.
Attracting candidates: Providing marketing services to attract qualified candidates.
Interviewing candidates: Performing initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and skills.
Kimona Natee Alim

Partner at Valley Creative Art Center
Kimona leads product, operations, customer service, and strategic planning at The Stage is Set. Having spent a lot of time inside both startups and large companies, she brings engineering, data, product, research, and marketing teams together to launch and scale new products and services.
She enjoys combining top-down approaches for figuring out opportunities in the market with bottom-up approaches to identify unmet needs and create products that customers love. Kimona is particularly passionate about companies in the early growth phase looking to deliver greater value to customers by solving iteratively harder problems and building morale.
